The First Fifty Years”, published in 1956, is a delightful booklet highlighting the beginnings of the Horticultural Experiment Station, its evolution and contributions to the horticultural industry. The next fifty years is represented in the current publication “Celebrating A Century of Success”. This 250 page book, through concisely written articles, highlights the Station’s contributions in science and human interest articles illustrate what made the Station not just a place to work but a place to live, rear a family and be a community.
