Research Manager - Shellfish Health and Husbandry Research Program

The Malaspina Centre for Shellfish Research (CSR) has emerged as the focus for a coordinated approach to R&D and training in support of sustainable shellfish aquaculture development in B.C. The CSR has an opening for a Research Manager of the Shellfish Health and Husbandry Research Program. This position requires a highly motivated and dynamic individual who can assemble and lead research teams to undertake pure and applied research projects. Under the general direction of the CSR Director, you will work closely with CSR staff and network partners and be responsible for developing proposals and obtaining funding for priority research projects in the area of health and husbandry and with a focus on development of health assessment tools and optimum husbandry protocols.
