BEMS - Biological and Environmental Mechanics

The Aims of Biological and Environmental Mechanics (BEMS)
  • To serve a site dedicated to the interdisciplinary study of the biology of organisms (microbes, protists, fungi, plants, and animals), and their environments using mathematical, physical and engineering approaches.
  • To foster communication among like-minded students and researchers.
  • To provide links to other BEMS-related internet resources.
  • To foster the dissemination of educational resources for education in BEMS-related areas.
  • To foster discussion on recent and topical research issues.
