Essentials for Life (EFL) is a dually registered not-for-profit organization based in Ontario, Canada.  Upon formal/legal application to the Ontario government, the not-for-profit status was granted by the Ministry of Consumer and Business Services from the province of Ontario under the Ontario Corporations Act.

Ukraine

 
A) Faith and Light Communities - an organization under the direction of Ms. Zenia Kushpeta based in Lviv, Ukraine.

The Faith and Light Communities consist of young women and men of various ages with special needs due to serious mental and/or physical challenges. Due to very limited support for our friends in the Ukraine with special needs, the Faith and Light program provides opportunities for these individuals to be bused to various centers so that, with loving supervision, they can share together in meaningful work activity and joyful celebration.

B) Lviv Theological Academy - based in Lviv, Ukraine under the directorship of Fr. Borys Gudziak, PhD.

Through educational and outreach programs, the Ukrainian Catholic University has emerged.  The need exists for more books, more classes, and various forms of educational support in order to provide for the education and training of seminarians and students.  This university is making major inroads in training catechisists to teach the Gospel, linking Christian values with Ukrainian society, and through direct involvement and support of many outreach programs in the Ukraine.

C) Dzherelo (Children’s Rehabilitation Centre) based in Lviv, Ukraine

 The Dzerelo program based within the Dzerelo Centre is dedicated to the servicing via early intervention, schooling, rehabilitation therapy, homecare, etc.  The program supports children with disabilitites (primarily cerebral palsy) from western Ukraine. 

 
India

The Heralds of Good News (missionary society)

 Under the direction of Reverend Dr. Matthew Kallikatt based and in Eluru, India, this outreach program provides for the training of large numbers of young seminarians who, without outside support, would not have the resources to sustain their personal needs (food, lodging, training). 

South America

 The Society of Human Family in Christ

 Under the spiritual leadership of Fr. Andrew Cuschieri until his recent passing, along with members of the various committees (hospital and school development, medical advisory, child sponsorship), the Society is dedicated to supporting the spiritual, educational, medical, and other needs of young and old alike living in rural regions of Bolivia.
