About BiocSA
The Biochemistry Student Association (BiocSA) is a student
organization established in 2008. Our aim is to create a
stronger connection between biochemistry students at the
University of Guelph. With such a large amount of students at
the university, newer students may feel overwhelmed with the
experience. BiocSA overcomes this by organizing seminars,
academic activities, and social events.
BiocSA invites all Biochemistry students (major or minor) to
attend events and get involved with the club.
Meetings are located in the New Science Complex, room 3310. Times and descriptions can be found on the Events page. These meetings and events are by no means mandatory, but they are usually highly educational, as well as usually fun!
Organization/Structure
The executive consists of:
President - Responsible for the main coordination of all BiocSA activities, events, and meetings..
Vice-President (Finance) - Responsible for overseeing the financial status of BiocSA as well as monitoring the financial
details of planned events/meetings.

Vice-President (Communications) - Responsible for keeping the website and other media up-to-date, as well
as contacting students to advise of upcoming meetings and events.
