This web page includes several resources to address our main goal-- to promote and facilitate research on climate impacts, vulnerabilities, risks, and adaptation for the Canadian agri-food sector. We offer three items: an inventory of current climate change adaptation researchers and their projects; fact sheets summarizing adaptation research projects; and reviews of the main research gaps and issues as identified by our network membership.
Research Project Inventories
Two research project inventories are available. They are in Excel format and contain information about research projects relevant to climate change impacts and adaptation research. Entries include information on investigator(s), title, key words, research summaries, and contact information, among other items. If you want to search these resources, we recommend saving the document to your computer and using the Excel search function. Please contact the C-CIARN Agriculture office for any corrections and additions.
C-CIARN Agriculture regularly updates the main research gaps and issues for climate change risks and agriculture based on input from three groups producers and the agri-food industry, policy development, and the research community. Their concerns are wide ranging in terms of level of analysis and implications. The following lists of research priorities are available:
