Charles M. FISCHER

Charles M. Fischer, who for the past 25 years has been a well known farmer on R. R. 4 (Petersburg highway), passed away late yesterday at St. Mary's hospital in his 64th year. The late Mr. Fischer had been ailing for some time altho he was only confined to hospital for 12 days. Surviving besides his wife, who before her marriage was Barbara Riedl of near Bamberg, are one son Reinhold and one daughter Georgina, both at home. Four brothers and three sisters, William, Anthony, Albert of Kitchener, and George of Preston, Mrs John Riedl, Miss Mary and Miss Elizabeth, all of Kitchener also survive. The funeral will take place from his late residence Friday morning at ten o'clock. Services will be held in St. Mary's church, Kitchener. Interment arrangements have not been completed.

Anthony Wilhelm

Anthony Wilhelm, wellknown thruout Waterloo county, died last night at his home in New Germany after an illness of over three years during which time he suffered constant pain. He was 78 years of age. Deceased had been afflicted with gangrene, which some time ago necessitated the amputation of his right leg above the knee. Dropsy and a light stroke, which it is believed he experienced yesterday afternoon, are attributed as being the cause of his death. The late Mr. Wilhelm who was born in Williamsburg, was the son of the late Anthony Wilhelm. Until about two years ago, when he purchased a home in New Germany, Mr. Wilhelm farmed near Williamsburg. His death is deeply mourned by many friends.

He is survived by his bereaved widow, nee Mary Tausch, ten sons, Charles of New Germany, Henry, Simon, aand Leo of Waterloo, Edward, Herbert, Joseph, John and Peter of Kitchener, and George of Toronto, and four daughters, Mrs, Johanna Bowdidge of New York city, Mrs. Louis Boissoin of Kitchener, Mrs. Henry Reinhardt of Shantz Station, aand Miss Wilhelmina, at home. One daughter Mrs. Chas. Reinhardt of Shantz Station predeceased him. He is also mourned by one sister Mrs. John Moser, Young street Kitchener. The funeral will take place on Friday morning from his home in New Germany to St. Mary's church in this city, where a requiem mass will be sung at 9:30 o'clock. Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
