Worked in Windsor and later as a mechanic for Donnelly Sawmill, Chepstow. He took over the home farm. In 1927 he bought, at a Sheriff's Auction, a 1927 Chevrolet Special sedan, maroon with blue trim and disc wheels, all shiny with glass, when nearly all cars in Chepstow were touring cars. It was stolen and never recovered.
Albert married Johanna PHILLIPI, daughter of Nicholas PHILLIPI and Mary ERNEWEIN, on 13 Jun 1931.
