207. William Louis FISCHER (William Joseph , Joseph , Philip ) was born 9 Oct 1904. He died 10 Dec 1968.
William married Laura VOLL, daughter of George VOLL and Mary DIETRICH. Laura was born 17 Mar 1906 and died July 6, 2005.
Laura says "Bill was a wonderful husband and father, and my in-laws were beautiful people. I was a lucky person to marry into that family."
Two nieces, admired as others did, the close relationship between Aunt Laura and Uncle Bill, and decided they wanted to have a similar relationship when they married. It's mentioned that when Bill worked the late shift at Dominion Tire, when he came off work, Laura would get up and make tea for him while they talked.

Grace married Charles BOISSOIN, born 8 May 1910.
Charles Boissoin, worked for a tobacco wholesale firm.
Charles is the son of Louis Boissoin, 1872-1952 and Mary Wilhelm, 1874-1952 daughter of Anton Wilhelm II. When Grace and Charles were married, it was mentioned that they were distantly related. This is evidence that the Fischers and Anton Wilhelms were related, as mentioned earlier. But whether the relationship was between Anton and Caroline (Wilhelm) Fischer or between Fischers and Johanna (Weber) Wilhelm or whether both relationships existed, is not known for sure.

Walter died of cancer in 1957 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Guelph, where he is buried. Walter served overseas in W. W. II and possibly suffered some from shell-shock. He had a construction company. Walter married Gladys Gardiner in England. At War's end they came to Canada with their two-year-old baby. Even then, in Canada, Gladys found it hard to quit the custom of English mothers in wartime of bending over the crib to protect the baby whenever a plane flew over.
