Conference Announcement


Frank Lewis (Queen’s) and Ian Keay (Queen’s) are organizing a one day economic history conference to be held in the Economics Department at Queen's University on Friday, March 6, 2009. The speakers will be Peter Lindert (UC Davis), Angela Redish (UBC), Zorina Khan (Bowdoin College), and Chris Minns (LSE). There will also be a graduate student session. The presentations will be seminar-style, with no discussants and audience participation encouraged.
Lunch will be provided and Frank will be hosting a dinner at his home on Friday night. Hotel rooms have been set aside at a preferred rate at the Four Points Sheraton. These rooms will be held until February 5, 2009 (please mention the QED Economic History Conference when booking).
