The Canadian Network for Economic History meets every 18 months to present and discuss recent research in economic history.

On behalf of the friends and colleagues of Mary MacKinnon and Alan Green, the Canadian Network for Economic History would like to dedicate its 2011 conference to their memory. Additional information about the CEA Annual Meetings, which will be held June 3-5 in Ottawa, may be accessed at http://economics.ca/2011/en/.
During the 2011 CNEH conference we will discuss an appropriate, permanent memorial that recognizes the contributions made by Mary and Alan to our discipline.

Alan Green died on November 3 2010, in Kingston, Ontario, at the age of 78. In his memory, and on behalf of Alan's family, friends, colleagues and students, the Department of Economics at Queen’s University has established the Alan G. Green Memorial Fund to support research and teaching in economic history. More information ...
