Purpose

The primary purpose of the society is to provide a framework of support to help students achieve their goals within the MIEF (Management Economics and Industry and Finance) and Economics related majors. We are committed to helping University of Guelph students excel in the subject of economics area by offering links to valuable information such as tutoring and exam bank services, as well as various professional events, activities, and information sessions that will benefit students.

The Economics Society of Guelph will work to raise recognition among industry, finance and insurance firms to further Guelph's business reputation.

The Economics Society of Guelph is a collection of students all sharing an interest in the field of economics who strive to educate themselves about its prospects as a profession, benefit from its services to support economics and management education, to connect themselves to the industry; and to provide a link between University Administration, Faculty, and members needing information regarding accounting education.
