The African Conservation Experience is an organization based in the UK which runs multiple conservation projects in South Africa, Botswana and Mauritius. The projects cover four main categories: hands-on animal care, wildlife veterinary work, field research and marine conservation. The program accepts volunteers of all ages/backgrounds, not just students! There is an extensive website with information on each project, and you can also order a physical brochure to be mailed to you.

A representative from the ACE gave a presentation to the FVC general meeting to recruit new volunteers. If you missed this, don't worry! The applications are open year-round! Typically applications are filled a year in advance.
