Undergraduate research serves as the foundation for a career
as an investigator, consultant or professor. Although the Child, Youth
and Family degree does not require a undergraduate thesis, I often urge
students to consider completing one to make them more competitive in
graduate program applications. I advise undergraduate students on
a variety of topics that are related to my general research interests.
Preference
is given to students in Child, Youth and Family,
Psychology, Sociology, or Anthropology; though I will consider students
iin other
majors. Intermittently, I will post high quality undergraduate
theses, or papers based on theses, as examples for interested students
to read. These provide examples of what I consider to be excellent
