Ischnoderma resinosum
Fruitbodies are bracket-form, 7-25 cm long, 3-15 cm wide, dark-brown, velvety, becoming radially furrowed, and exude amber-coloured fluid when young. Flesh is soft, tough, watery, and straw-coloured. Tubes are white and stain brown. Pores are round to angular, and 4-6 per mm. Widespread and common, it fruits on hardwood logs and stumps late in the year.
