
Postia caesia
Fruitbodies shelving, 3-6 cm long by 1-4 cm wide and up to 1 cm deep, white to off-white, soft to spongy, often stained bluish grey, velvety to pubescent becoming smooth in age, azonate. Flesh white, 1-10 mm thick, mild. Pores white to grey or blue-grey. Widespread and common on dead wood, it is also known as Tyromyces caesius and Oligoporus caesius.
