Clavariadelphus truncatus Flat-Topped Coral
This distinctive coral fungus is readily recognized by its fleshy, flattened (truncate) fruitbodies. It is widespread but not common and reported as edible. As you can see here, some fruitbodies have wrinkles running down their length.
