Clavulinopsis fusiformis Spindle-Shaped Coral
There are a number of unbranched (club-shaped), yellow, coral fungi. This species grows in dense clusters and the fruitbodies tend to be narrower at both the top and the bottom (spindle-shaped) and are often flattened. The lemon yellow to yolk-yellow fruitbodies are also hollow. This is a widespread and very common species.
