Ramaria aurea          Golden Coral

There are a number of yellow, orange-yellow and orange coral fungi that are very difficult to tell apart even for the experts on this group.   As well, the colours of coral fungi tend to change with age and weathering and they can become faded and even brownish.  So identification of species in this complex is a bit of a guessing game.  Some Coral Fungi are poisonous and the edibility of many is not established so they are not recommended for eating.
