Tremella foliacea Leafy Jelly Fungus
Fruitbodies are variable in size, from 5-25 cm long, tough, gelatinous, and form densely-packed flattened lobes that are pale red-brown to deep red-brown, often with purple tinges. Widespread but not common, it fruits on dead branches of hardwood trees and occasionally conifers.
