Boletus ornatipes

Caps are 5-15 cm across, convex becoming flat, velvety, dull, sticky when wet, yellow-brown to olive-brown, becoming grey-olive to smoky.  Flesh is bright yellow, mildly bitter, and not staining. Stalks are up to 15 cm tall, bright yellow, bruising yellow to orange, with prominent surface network. Tubes are up to 8 mm deep, lemon-yellow, staining orange-yellow. Pores are 2 per mm. Spore prints are  olive-brown drying yellow-brown. Fruits under hardwoods. Edible.
