Giant constricting rings in Arthrobotrys brochopaga

The standard constricting ring is 20-30 microns across. 'Mini-rings' can develop from microconidia produced by predatory fungi and  large or 'Giant Rings' are produced by Arthrobotrys brochopaga (=Dactylaria brochopaga) and probbaly other predatory fungi under certain conditions.  Giant rings can be 120 microns or more in diameter.
