Clavaria fumosa

Frutibodies are unbranched, up to 12 cm tall by 6 mm wide, fragile, in dense clusters, and pale flesh-coloured to pale grey with a yellowish tinge. Widespread and locally common, it fruits in dense clusters on the ground in hardwood forests.  Not particularly common in Southern Ontario.
