Hygrocybe acutoconica

Caps are 2-6 cm across, conic to bell-shaped, often with flaring upturned margin, acutely knobbed, very slimy, golden yellow, and orange-tinged at centre. Gills are attached and yellow. Stalks are up to 7 cm tall by 1 cm wide, coloured as cap, fibre-streaked, and sometimes twisted. Spore prints are white.  Widespread but not common, it fruits on the ground in mixed woods. Edibility unknown.
