Crucibulum laeve

Crucibulum is easily recognized as the Bird's Nest Fungus with the light-coloured 'eggs'.   The eggs (= peridioles) are whitish to cream.   It is called White Egg Bird's Nest or sometimes Common Bird's Nest!

Picture shows the hairy outside wall of the fruitbody that is up to one cm tall and the eggs filling the nest are each about 1.5 mm across.
