
Mycena epipterygia
This is a very variable species but the yellow translucent stlks are distinctive. The Cap can vary from almost white to lemon yellow.
Caps are 1-2.5 cm, smooth, shiny, conical to bell-shaped, yellow to grey or brownish, with a striate margin. Gills are attached, white, and age brownish. Stalks are up to 7 cm tall, translucent yellow, and slender. Spore prints are white and amyloid. Widespread and common, it fruits on conifer wood or under conifers. Mycena viscosa also has a yellow stalk but is much more robust.
