  Coprinus micaceus                     Mica Cap

Edible but flimsy.  Can cause grief to some as it keep s coming up year after year from buried wood and does not respond easily to control methods.    I  have clusters of Mica Cap sprouting in abundance from buried roots of a Norway Maple that I cut down over a dozen years ago.
