Aspergillus - head of an Aspergillus species to show the single layer of conidiogenous cells (= uniseriate) radiating from the vesicle. At maturity this would form a spherical head. Compare with Aspergillus fumigatus where the conidiogenous cells are also in a single layer but arise only from the upper half of the vesicle and at maturity produce a columnar head (click here).
