Phyllotus porrigens  = Pleurocybella porrigens

The common name, Angels' Wings,   is very appropriate for this beautiful mushroom. When the light comes from above the cap is almost transparent giving an ethereal look to the fruitbodies. It fruits in overlapping clusters on rotting logs or stumps.  The flesh is very thin and this distinguishes it from the thicker fleshed Pleurotus ostreatus (Oyster Mushroom)
