My personal life

Born in the Netherlands, my family emigrated to New Brunswick, Canada in 1980. I am an alumnus of John Caldwell School in Grand Falls, NB, Canada, Class of '82

Happily married since July 23, 1994, my wife Freda and I have two bubbling sons, Colin, born May 19, 1995 and Adam, born June 30, 1998. and two wonderful daughters, Elissa, born Dec 5, 2001, and Kelsey, born Dec 6, 2005! We live in Everton, Ontario, Canada. We attend the Emmanuel Canadian Reformed Church here in town (OK between Guelph and Rockwood).

My work life

Having graduated in 1987 with a B.Sc. (Eng) from the University of Guelph, with a non-offical emphasis in computers, I started work for the department of Computing and Communications Services (CCS) on Mar 16, 1987. Since Oct 2009, I am employed as a lead analyst involved in IT Security in the Portfolio Management Office of ther CIO's Office.

My extracurricular life

I am currently a member of the Board of Covenant Canadian Reformed Teacher's College (CCRTC) , a small private Teacher's College in Hamilton.

As a past local school board member, I also had some involvement with a subcommittee of CARE (Curriculum Assistance for Reformed Education) regarding computer use and education in the elementary grades. As committee we have tried to compile some online resources to help us to our task.

I have been collecting some reformed resources, unfortunately time lacks to do a complete job. In any case on the following page is the humble beginning.
