GCSSA becomes

Guelph Chinese Students and Scholars Association (GCSSA)
将于2007年1月1日起正式更名为Guelph Chinese Students and Professionals Association°
(GCSPA)。为了更好的团结校园以外的圭尔夫地区华人，我们将学者更改为专业人士，因为专业人士包括了学者，但学者并非唯一的专业人士。原有的GCSSA-L作为一个交流平台，将会继续为大家服务。

与此同时，为了方便圭尔夫地区华人之间的交流，并且有效的控制群发邮件里广告的数量，我们将推出GCSPA的网站：http://www.gcspa.ca/，以及GCSPA的会员交流论坛（BBS）：http://www.gcspa.ca/bbs/index.php。BBS目前设置三大会员版块：Guelph校园，日常生活，水淹Guelph。今后如有需要，我们会增加其他大家喜欢的版块。我们也欢迎热心会员在“站务管理区”申请版主并留下你们宝贵的意见和建议。

从2007年1月1日起，请将所有买卖物品以及房屋出租的广告发送到BBS的“日常生活”版，从2007年2月1日起，我们将通过管理员权限全面限制GCSSA-L上此类广告的发送。如果您有任何问题，可以通过电话或邮件与我们联系。

在此，我谨代表GCSPA决策层向Guelph地区所有华人献上我们真诚的祝福，祝大家圣诞快乐。

Please note that the GCSSA will change its name to GCSPA effective on
January 1st 2007. The new website address is http://www.gcspa.ca/ and
the forum address is http://www.gcspa.ca/bbs/index.php. The GCSSA-L
listserv will continue to serve Guelph community. However, for future
advertisements and discussions, please post on the forum. Starting on
Feb 1st, 2007 all advertisements will no longer be accepted on the
listserv.
