The training schedules are for both lightweight and heavyweight rowers (lightweight for women is 135lbs or less, for men it is 165lbs or less). Most training is based on heart-rates - it is up to the athlete to check their heart-rate regularly to ensure they are training at the proper level. The onus is on the athlete to complete their training. These practices are intended for senior and novice rowers who are serious about trying out for the senior team in the following Fall. Other experienced rowers who did not row this fall are 100% welcome to attend, provided they are also serious about trying out for the senior team next fall. (Note: Practice schedules do not represent supervised times, and are simply a guide for successful training) |
