The HRMSA offers a variety of workshops, seminars, career fairs, case competitions and events that are tailored to HRM students.  My name is Michelle Acacio and I am your President of the HRMSA for 2009 – 2010.  I have been an active member of the HRMSA since 2007 and I can truly say that it has been one of the greatest experiences that I have had as a student at the University of Guelph.   I encourage you to attend HRMSA events because it will be an opportunity for you to not only network with other HR students, but with faculty, HRM alumni and other HR professionals.  I look forward to meeting you all in the near future! And remember, whether you are in your first or fourth year, make sure to take advantage of what the HRMSA has to offer!

My name is Caitlin Chaput and I am the Internal Vice President for this year's HRM-SA. I am currently in my third year, and have really enjoyed my time at the University of Guelph and try to get involved anyway that I can. Hi everyone!  My name is Alexandra Jamieson and I am currently your VP External with the HRM-SA.  I am in my third year of the HRM program at Guelph and have been involved with the council since my first year at the University.  There are some great things happening with the HRM-SA as our council and the HRM program at U of G continue to grow.  The HRMSA has a lot to offer HRM students including information sessions, networking events, charity fundraisers, and socials.  Be sure to check your email for upcoming events, and I look forward to meeting you!

Hello everyone, welcome to HRMSA! My name is Zhenrong (Sammi) Li. I am a fourth year student, and my role is the Executive Recruiter. I switched into HRM in my second year, and it has been the best decision I have ever made! In my first two years I enjoyed attending a lot of the fun events the HRMSA planned and decided this was the year I wanted to get more involved in the planning process of the events. Hi!  My name is Megan Cassidy.  I am currently in 3rd year HR and my role on the HRMSA is one of two social coordinators.  My job as social coordinator is to help organize social events so students can meet other students in their major and network with professionals from the HR industry.  I really encourage everyone to become involved with the HRMSA and attend events.   It is a great opportunity to meet amazing people and create support networks which create an overall more enriching university experience and open many doors.  I have already, and hope to continue meeting more people who share the same enthusiasm for the HR major.
