Emily Robinson

Emily Robinson is an NSERC Scholar doing her MSc on the impacts of climate change on the abundance and distribution of bean leaf beetle in Southern Ontario.  She grew-up in Nova Scotia and came to Guelph for her BSc degree.  She completed her degree, majoring in ecology, in 2009.  While an undergraduate, Emily held an NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Assistantship with the Newman lab in 2008, and she did her undergraduate research course in the Biodiversity Institute of Ontario with Sally Adamowicz on spider taxonomy and systematics using DNA barcoding (see publications).  Emily is co-supervised by Rebecca Hallett and her research is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
