If the Gryphon’s hope to capture the last playoff spot they need to win the next two games.

Jan 26

Guelph

Brock

66

76

5-10

This was a close game except for 2 minutes in the third quarter but when you shoot 30% from the field, 65% from the line and turn the ball over 17 times you can’t expect to win.

Seemed strange not seeing Ken Murray on the Brock bench.  Coach Roots doesn’t make the Badgers any more likeable.

Feb 2

Windsor

Guelph

94

97

7-10

A big OT win on the road.  McCarthy scores 38 and Petrella 26, I don’t recall any two Gryphon’s combining for 64 points in a game.

With 5 games left can the young Gryphon’s make a run and reach the playoffs?

Feb 5

Western

Guelph

74

60

7-11

McCarthy gets 16 and Petrella 32 – fantastic – but someone else also has to score.

Feb 9

Guelph

Laurier

73

72

8-11

Feb 12

Guelph

McMaster

92

96

8-12

Three teams are 8-12 with two to play.

Feb 16

Brock

Guelph

80

83

9-12

A win against Windsor and the Gryphon’s make the playoffs, if they lose they will need help to capture 6th.  Gryphon’s have played better on the road than at home.  Good luck.

Feb 19

Guelph

Windsor

85

92

9-13

Gryphon’s didn’t play badly but couldn’t overcome the #9 Lancer’s size and 13/19 shooting from 3-point range.

Gryphon’s finish 6th
