STRESS MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATION AND TRAINING FOR HEALTH PROFESSIONALS
The Biofeedback Certification Institute of America (BCIA) offered Stress Management Education Certification exams until spring 1998. Unfortunately they have not continued with the examination and certification process due to heavy demands on their resources and manpower. They are indefinitely offering continuing education credits through BCIA stress management workshops. To inquire about their upcoming stress management workshops for continuing education credits (which may count toward stress management certification if this certification is reinstituted) contact B.C.I.A. at bcia@resourcenter.com.
In 2006 the International Stress Management Association (USA branch) has been working on restoring the Stress Management Education certification. Robert Schachter is in charge of the project and he may be contacted at rss99@earthlink.net.
