The 6th annual Gryphon Lacrosse Alumni Game took place on October 1. Looking to take their winning streak to 4 years in a row, the alumni squad fell just short...loosing 10-9 to the young, fit, Gryphon team.

The alumni jumped out to a quick 2 goal lead and lead 3-0 after the first quarter. Early in the 2nd, the Gryphon squad finally got on the scoresheet even though Gryphon attackman Cam Monroe was at least 2 feet in the crease when he scored. But, the alumni, in the interest of fair play, gave the goal to the young Gryphons; a decision that would haunt them later.

In the second half of the game, the young Gryphons started to find their stride and the 4th quarter turned into a see-saw battle with the young fellas coming out victorious...evening out the 6 year series at 3 games each.
