Ontario Library Association Executive

Meeting at Toronto, 1926

In 1926, Edwin A. Hardy completed his long affiliation with the Ontario Library Association by serving a term as president. To help commemorate his long years of service, OLA officers arranged for a photograph during the business portion of the annual meeting.

Above left to right: E.A. Hardy (Toronto); F. DelaFosse (Peterborough); William Briden (St. Catharines); James Steele (Stratford); George W. Rudlen (Arnprior); Fred Landon (London); Wiifred Matheson (Brantford); Aimee Kennedy (Kingston); Mary J. L. Black (Fort William); David Williams (Collingwood); and George H. Locke (Toronto).

In the mid-1920s, after a quarter century of existence, OLA continued to be a small organization and the executive group usually was representative of many parts of the province.
