Nathan is a Vanier Canada Graduate Scholar and University Without Walls Fellow currently studying as a PhD candidate in Epidemiology in the Department of Population Medicine at the University of Guelph, Canada and has was awarded the OVC Dean’s Doctoral Fellowship for direct-entry into a PhD program. He received a Bachelor of Science, Honours in Biological Science in 2010 with distinction. His research interests include sexual health, LGBT health, Aboriginal health, men’s health, sexual scripts and HIV/AIDS.

Beyond academics, Nathan is an active citizen within both his campus and wider community. As a student leader, Nathan most recently served on the Board of Governors, the Senate and as the Central Student Association’s Executive as the Academic & University Affairs Commissioner. In the community, Nathan has served on the Guelph Wellington United Way Campaign Cabinet and as a Youth Group Facilitator with the Trillium Childhood Cancer Support Centre.
