Short Bio

Welcome to my academic website!

I am an Assistant Professor at the School of Engineering, University of Guelph, where I lead the GryPHone Lab.

Prior to joining University of Guelph, I was a post doctoral researcher with the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto, working with Professor Alberto Leon-Garcia . I received my Ph.D. in 2014 and my M.A.Sc. in 2010 from the same department, under the supervision of Professor Dimitrios Hatzinakos. Previously, I received my Diploma degree in 2008 from the department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at the Technical University of Crete, Greece.

Research

My research interests span primarily in the area of Wireless Sensos Networks (WSNs) and Internet of Things (IoT). I am mainly working on the design, simulation and evaluation of multi-hop routing protocols, testbed prototyping and opportunistic networks.
