RIPNET stands for the Riparian Research and Management Network, a network dedicated to research and policy on riparian systems in Canada's boreal forest. It is our goal to create a website that will serve as the central virtual repository for information exchange and communication among riparian researchers, regulators and policy makers, forest managers, and anyone else with an interest in riparian issues and shoreline forest management.
