Program Coordination

  • Director of the Centre for Open Learning and Educational Support, a newly-merged unit with direct oversight of educational development, educational technologies, classroom technologies, continuing education, distance education and the Open Learning programme. My portfolio focussed on partnerships and initiatives as of 2012. (2011-current)
  • Associate Director of Teaching Support Services. Included advise and supporting Director, advocacy related to teaching culture at the University of Guelph as relfelcted in policies, procedures and practices, and the general operations of the department. (2007-present)
  • Manager of activities of the Instructional Development unit of Teaching Support Services. Includes budgeting, supervision, and strategic planning. (2003-present)
  • Chair of the Curriculum Development Resource Network. (2006-present)
  • Coordinate the New Faculty Programme at the University of Guelph. (2003-2007)
  • Chair the annual Teaching and Learning Innovations Conference at the University of Guelph. (2003-2007)
  • Coordinated the design and development of distance courses in the online Masters of Business Administration degree at University of Guelph. (2000-2003)
  • Developed, coordinated and designed a six-course management program for Humber College delivered via the Internet. Also hired and supervised trainers, at a distance, to facilitate courses in the “Post-Diploma Program in Hospitality, Recreation &; Tourism." (1996-1998)
  • Coordinated, designed and instructed a program of Personal and Professional Effectiveness for Professional Engineers and Architects at George Brown College. Modules included Team Building; Time, Stress and Change Management; Customer Service; and Job Search Skills. (1995)
