Conwy also has an Edwardian Castle, perhaps in the nicest setting with hills in the backdrop
And a walk around the old city walls
The wall walk offers great views of the castle and the town.
Check out the neat railroad bridge at the right, and the
church tower in centre of town. The old church (St. Mary's Parish Church) has burial plots all around it, and includes
an enigmatic wrought iron plaque (looking like a cage or bike rack) with the sign:
"We Are Seven" (of Nine?). This churchyard and its
gravestones supposedly inspired William Wordsworth to write the poem, "We Are Seven"
(see this link for the full poem).
