Snowdonia National Park in Northwest Wales occupies a large area with beautiful trees, mountains, rivers and lakes.

Mount Snowdon is the highest peak in Wales (and England), and is reached from Pen-y-Pass (which is between Llanberis and Betws-y-Coed)

The roads are very narrow, barely enough for a single large vehicle sometimes, and when two large vehicles meet, it seems to be a very tense situation (especially for North American drivers), considering that there is often a large dropoff on the side of the road
