The University of Guelph operates a total of 150 hectares of the Ontario Crops Research Centre in Woodstock (formerly known as the Woodstock Research Station). Only 60 hectares of this land are level and uniform enough for research use, and 30 hectares are systematically tile drained. An 18m x 35m building is used for machinery storage, threshing and sample storage.

The Ontario Crops Research Centre in Woodstock is also home to Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show, held every September. For more information, please visit the Canada's Outdoor Farm Show website.
