About Us
The Advanced Manufacturing Lab (AML) is a facility which operates inside the University of Guelph's School of Engineering. The AML and its team were established in early 2014 and have been providing services and consultation to industrial partners and other academic instutions. The team was constructed and is supervised by Dr Ibrahim Deiab, a professor at the University of Guelph.

What we do
We provide a wide range of services to students and clients, as well as ultilize our equipment to develop new methods of production
Education
The AML educates students at the University of Guelph through manufacturing specific courses.
Research
Through research and testing, we develop superior methods of manufacturing. Our team creates new and improved designs that focus on efficiency, quality and environmental sustainability.
Training
We provide training to people in the manufacturing industry as well as students at the Univeristy of Guelph.
Material Characterization
Our lab is equipped with a variety of material characterization machines that are used in our research.
