Noor Alé graduated from the University of Guelph in 2012 in Art History. Noor seized her opportunities across the pond in Paris, France at Université Paris Sorbonne then London, England and completed a Master’s in Art History at the Courtauld Institute of Art. Over the years, Noor gained an impressive resume working for the National Gallery of Canada, the Art Gallery of Ontario and Royal Ontario Museum. Noor continued to expand her resume internationally working for Art Dubai as an Education Program Coordinator in Dubai, UAE. She also worked as a Curatorial Trainee for the Abu Dhabi Project at Guggenheim Museum in New York City. Noor eventually landed in Barrie, Ontario working as the Assistant Curator for MacLaren Art Centre.

The University of Guelph resides on the land of the Between the Lakes Treaty No. 3, the territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit. This land is part of the Dish with One Spoon, a covenant between Indigenous nations to live peaceably on the territories of the Great Lakes region. We recognize that today this gathering place is home to many First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples and acknowledging them reminds us of our collective responsibility to the land where we learn, live and work.
