Jessie Thomson is the Senior Director of Program Innovation and Strategic Partnerships at CARE Canada. Jessie holds an Honours BA degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Toronto and a Master of Science degree in International Development Studies from the London School of Economics. Jessie spent five years as CARE Canada’s Senior Director of Humanitarian Assistance and now leads the organization’s Program Innovation and Strategic Partnerships team. Prior to joining CARE, she spent 2009-2010 in Pakistan as the Protection Delegate for the International Committee for the Red Cross and five years in the federal public service working on refugee and humanitarian policy. Jessie will be taking part in SOLAL's Public Lecture Series on Monday, November 12, an event which is open to the public.
