Please note that Friday, September 16th is the last day to add classes for Fall 2016. Permission to add late is not guaranteed as the policy states that permission will only be granted in exceptional circumstances (illness or compassionate grounds for missing all or part of the first three class days; interchanging courses with common lectures, one with and one without labs; late resolution of appeals; failure of a deferred course condition or examination; university errors in registration procedures), so please make sure you have all of your courses added by Friday.

If a class or section you would like to take in the fall semester is full, you can contact the instructor of the class to see if they are willing to overload the section you would like to take. There are many reasons why this might not be possible (not enough room in the lecture hall, not enough lab benches in a lab section, not enough resources for all students etc.), but if you do not ask, you do not give the instructor an opportunity to say yes.
Course Registration for the Fall Semester will opened on August 22nd at midnight. If you did not pay your $200 deposit on or before August 5th, your courses will be removed from your schedule. The Registrar's Office will notify you via email if you were deregistered from your courses. You must pay this deposit before you can add courses to your schedule again. It is your responsibility to add your courses back to your schedule on WebAdvisor if you have been deregistered; your previous space is not guaranteed.
Please note that the last day for current students (everyone except the incoming first year students) to add Summer and Fall courses is Friday, May 20th.
Current students can add Fall courses during the next course selection period for current students, June 6th - June 10th.
Incoming first year students can continue to select courses until Monday, July 4th.
If you are interested in taking Sculpture I (SART 2300), please contact the instructor of the course; they have room and are welcoming BLA students with open arms!
March 29th is the last day of this course registration period. The next add period will open May 11th and end May 20th. You can change your Summer and Fall courses during this time. If you are changing your Summer courses, please be aware of the exam schedule and do not schedule yourself into a conflict.
Pleaes note that the earlier published dates for course selection windows has changed and the window for class level 1 and higher with ID numbers ending in 61 to 80 has been moved to Monday, March 28th.
UPDATE: WebAdvisor appears to be working again. I have not heard confirmation from the Registrar's Office of this, just from students who have been able to add this morning. If you still can't add, please let me know.
Before and during the course selection time period, I am available for appointments and drop ins. If you would like to sit down with me for an appointment please come to Johnston Hall 133A and sign up for a 15 minute time slot on the sheets provided (available starting on February 24th). I ask that you only have one sign up time during this course selection period so others can have a chance to sign up as well. Please note that you must book your appointment time before we close the day before the appointment. No same day appointments will be booked unless it is an emergency.
Course Selection for the Summer and Fall semesters runs from March 7th to March 29th. Your selection time will depend on your ID number and semester level. Your semester level is listed on your Program/Academic Evaluation (available on WebAdvisor). Your time to start signing up for courses will be emailed to you by the Registrar's Office soon. It will also be listed on WebAdvisor.
