Friday, November 29th is for classes rescheduled from Monday, October 14th and is a Monday schedule.

Last Day to Drop Classes is Friday – Fall Semester

Friday, November 29th is the last day to drop classes. This is the last day to drop Fall 2019 classes without academic penalty (meaning they will not be on your transcript). Please speak with Michelle about possible times to meet to discuss this if you need to have a conversation before you drop.

Graduation Applications – Fall Semester

All graduation applications have been processed. If you were not contacted by me, your application has been moved to "Tentative". This means you have all the correct courses and the right amount of credits; all that is left is for you to successfully complete your current courses and have a 60% cumulative average. Enjoy the rest of the semester and good luck on exams!

Full Courses or Missing Prerequisite

Many courses are doing what is called “rolling enrollment”. This means they are opening spots throughout the course selection period with hopes of giving students with later selection windows equal opportunity to add courses. If a course is full and the cap looks suspiciously low (nothing is capped at 5!), they are likely using the rolling enrollment system.

First Year Restrictions

Many first year courses will be restricted to first year students only. This is to ensure they are able to get their required courses. Restrictions on most first year courses will be removed November 18th.

Courses affected are listed on the course restriction page

Extended Drop In Hours

During the course selection window openings (November 4th to November 13th), I will have increased drop in hours. These times will run the weeks of November 4th and November 11th:

Monday 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Tuesday 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Wednesday 10:00 am – 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Thursday 12:00 pm – 2:30 pm
Friday 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Course Selection – Winter 2020

Course Selection for the Winter semester begins on November 4th, 2019. Your selection time will depend on your class level. Your class level is listed on your Program/Academic Evaluation (available on WebAdvisor). Windows can be found on the WebAdvisor News Page. It will also be listed on WebAdvisor (as an announcement on the Student page).

Windows will be opened from November 4th to November 13th. Course selection will remain open until January 10th, 2020.
